Noman Group is a vertically integrated textile group based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is an export-oriented company engaged in the manufacture of fabric, ready-made garments, home textile, terry towel and denim products. It is one of the largest in the textile manufacturing industry in terms of capacity and workforce.
Overview
Noman Group is one of the leading textile manufacturers in Bangladesh. It is one of the largest Warp knitting manufacturer (Mosquito curtains and mesh fabrics) in the world. One of its flagship units - Zaber & Zubair Fabrics Limited is a leading manufacturer of home textile in Asia. In Apparel, Noman Group is continuously increasing production capacity of Twill, Poplin, Canvas and Yarn Dyed Fabrics. Noman Group has recently invested around BDT 150 crore to penetrate into terry towel manufacturing industry. It is starting denim production by the end of 2015. Noman Group is also one of the largest private sector employer with 50,000 staff in the 28 industrial facilities and headquarters.
Noman Group has the highest capacity in the industry with 500,000 spindles manufacturing from 8/s to 100/s counts both in carded, combed and compacted form. Its major export destinations include North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan with the buyers being large retail chains, wholesalers, hypermarkets and institutional suppliers.
The group aims to contribute to the national economy though mass-scale employment and people development. As recognition of its efforts, Zaber & Zubair Fabrics Ltd (A Sister Concern of Noman Group) achieved National Export Gold trophy in the Fiscal year of 2011-12 as the highest exporter in Bangladesh. It also received “Exporter of the Year” trophy from HSBC Bank in recent times for promoting the “Made in Bangladesh” mark throughout the world.
