Janet K. Brennan
Janet K. Brennan, author, poet, International Book Reviewer and Publisher was born in Lock Haven Pennsylvania in 1947. Although she lived for many years in Manchester, New Hampshire, she now resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Janet is co-owner and founder of Casa de Snapdragon Publishing, LLC. Her novels, short stories and poetry are popular around the world. She has authored three books of poetry; A Stronger Grace; Recollections of an Old Mind, West; Gentle Tugs, a Celebration of Life, Love and other Addictions; She has also authored two novels, critically acclaimed "A Dance in The Woods" and "Harriet Murphy, a Little Bit of Something" which was nominated for the New Mexico Book Award, 2009 and will go into serialization by Casa de Snapdragon, Publishing - 2009.
Janet has been featured in Chicken Soup for the Soul, Christmas, 2007; is a writer for Cyberwit Publications, Allahabad, India; SP Quill Magazine; The Power of Prayerful Living, Doug Hill, Rodale Books, 2002. Her poetry was featured in New Mexico Book Award finalist "New Mecca" - Zach Kluckman, Editor. She has collaborated with singer/songwriter, Michael Edward Stevens with their song "Catching Dreams" 2007 and continues to write musical collaborations. Her book reviews can be read in The Greenwich Village Gazette, Richard Schiff Editor and on J.B. Stillwater, Literary Magazine. She was a front page featured poet in Mary Barnet's, "Poetry Magazine"
In 2006, she and her husband, Arthur founded their own traditional publishing company, Casa de Snapdragon, LLC and have published Pulitzer Prize nominee, Charles Ades Fishman, "Water Under Water" as well as many well known authors from around the world.
Janet Brennan lives in the foothills of the Sandia Mountain with her husband, Arthur.She has two children and three grandchildren. She attended the University of New Hampshire where she majored in English Literature; The University of New Mexcio where she obtained a certification in Law; Hesser Business College, Manchester, New Hampshire. She is a classical painist, colored pencil and oil artist several times published (Harvests of the New Millennium, Cyberwit Publications, 2007 and 2008.
