Alan Thilak Karate School

Alan Thilak Karate School was founded by the late Dai Sensei Moses Thilak. The school is in existence for more than 35 years. It is a Non-political organization.Alan Thilak Karate School started with its headquarters in Chennai, India and has spread throughout the length and breadth of India and to certain other countries. It has branches from Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu and from Baroda, Gujarat to Imphal, Manipur. Alan Thilak Karate School International has branches in Middle Eastern Countries and South East Asian Countries, Germany, USA and Canada.The students as well as the Instructors of Alan Thilak Karate School have brought pride and honor by winning at International and National level championships. In the 8th SAF Games in Nepal, students of Alan Thilak Karate School won many medals for Karate. In State and District tournaments too the school has its sway throughout the Country. The Instructors of the school have also shone by succeeding in Referee exam in International level and are the top ranked Referees and Judges in India. Alan Thilak Karate School members take regularly in International tournaments and Seminars. Alan Thilak Karate School was presented with a medal for best participation in the 13th World Cup in Manila.Alan Thilak Karate School is recognized by all State, National, International Bodies. It is associated with State Olympic Association, Sports Authority, Government. It is associated with the School Games Federation of India. Alan Thilak Karate School has regular seminars and camps to maintain its standard. The founder Dai Sensei Moses Thilak was the Chief Coach of India for Karate and also the Chairman of All India Karate do Federation. His vast knowledge has helped the school to become one of the best in the world. Special Camps by eminent teachers are a regular practice in our school. We have invited Dai Sensei Kenni Mabuni, Soke, ShitoRyu of Japan (in 1986,1989,1994,1996 and 1999), Sensei Tommy Morris, Kancho, Kobe Osaka International and Chief Referee of World Karate Federation of UK (in 2001), Sensei John Rawlings, Vice President, Australian Karate Federation of Australia(in 2000), Sensei Kato of Japan (1n 1995), Sensei Hunter Armstrong, Director, International Hopopolgy Society of USA and Coach of Unarmed Combat for US Marines and others to impart their knowledge to the students.Since Alan Thilak Karate School teaches modern sports karate(non contact with safety equipments) none of the children get injured during training or competition. A few of our champions have been absorbed in Medical and Engineering colleges
