Yana GoodDay

Yana Goodday (born Yana Pavlovna Dobryden) is a former Miss Radio Russia and active Philosopher.
Background
She moved to the United States in 2015 to star as a leading character in the comedy TV series, "Brighton,". The show is set at the southernmost part of Brooklyn, N.Y., in the Russian neighborhood of Brighton Beach. It centers around a dysfunctional Russian family who fled the Soviet Union in the 80s to settle into Brighton Beach and run a grocery store.
Prior to moving to the United States, she modeled internationally for commercials, shows, photo shoots and runway events and gained notoriety in Russia media for her abilities to play a broad spectrum of characters from the villainous Olga Radosteva in the series The Fortune Teller to Liza, the young golden child in the series Kids in the Cage. In 2006, GoodDay made her debut leap into television when she was invited to host Success Stories, which aired on the TDK Channel. Her popularity on Success Stories led her to be offered the position of host on the live show Sexual Revolution, which received Best Erotic TV Show of the Year from the International Erotic Arts Festival from 2010 to 2012. As the host of the show Sexual Revolution, GoodDay has interviewed experts in the fields of sexology, psychology, psychotherapy, urology and andrology in order to find out what makes people 'tick' sexually, as well as issues pertinent to their sexual health. GoodDay was praised for her ability to maintain a calm and cool demeanor regardless of the ever-changing situations she finds herself in and her capability to be comfortable with difficult conversations on topics including abuse, sex, politics, religion, war, and discrimination. GoodDay was asked to host the Russian state lottery program Gosloto, a popular news and variety program featuring celebrity guests, musical acts and the lottery and has been compared to Vanna White, the leading lady from the popular American show Wheel of Fortune.
As the host of Hobby, which aired on 3 Channel (TRVK "Muscovy") in Russia, Yana GoodDay took audiences inside peoples' unique hobbies exposing viewers to a range of diverse subcultures in each episode. As the host of “Formula of Luck,” which aired on Russian Radio, GoodDay traveled around the city streets in a car specially-outfitted with mobile broadcasting equipment while interviewing drivers. As one of the hosts of "Test Drive," which aired on NTV's Morning on NTV Russia, GoodDay informed audiences on the most innovative developments in the international automobile industry.
GoodDay also worked as the director, scriptwriter, reporter and host on reports about Egypt, a series promoting tourism destinations and lodgings in Egypt. GoodDay hosted the 2014 XXII Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi in addition to hosting roles for productions broadcast live in the United States, United Kingdom, Africa, and Asia and for networks such as Channel One Russia, NTV Channel, Russian Radio, MTV, CTC and VH1. GoodDay's modeled internationally for distinguished brands and corporations including Citroen, Huggies, Campbell's and KRKA.
