Vivaldo Martini

Vivaldo Martini, born in 1908 in Bellinzona in the canton of Ticino and died in 1990 in Geneva, was a Swiss painter and professor of painting.
Early life and education
Vivaldo Martini studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna and the in Geneva.
He has exhibited mainly in Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Israel.
Vivaldo Martini created a workshop that trains artists.
Notable works
* The series of four paintings portraits of Anna Eynard-Lullin, Jean-Gabriel Eynard, Adelaide Sara Pictet Rochemont and Charles Pictet de Rochemont portraits from the 19th and 18th century.
* Portrait of Vosges luthier Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume exhibited at the Musée de la lutherie et de l'archèterie française at Mirecourt.
* The table "Phaedra and Ariadne griffin at Knossos palace.
