Lady Taktum was a maid working for Lady Hameeda Al-Musaffaat, the mother of Imam Al-Kadhim. Lady Hameeda then gave her to her son Imam Al-Kadhim and said: "My son, I have never seen a maid greater than Taktum and I do not doubt that Allah is going to bless the descendants from her if she is going to have any. I have given her to you so look after her properly”
