Sione Tekiteki
Sione Tekiteki (born 1981), B.Com/LL.B (Auck) is a Tongan lawyer. He was Clerk (Kalae Pule Falealea 'o Tonga) of the Parliament of Tonga (Le’ole’o ‘a e Fale) (2011-2012) and is now the Corporate Legal Officer Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, Suva.
Early life
Tekiteki was born in Tonga and received his secondary education in Auckland, New Zealand at . He obtained commerce and law degrees from the University of Auckland and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. He returned to Tonga and was admitted as a lawyer there.<ref name="Tonga"/>
Career
Tekiteki was appointed as Deputy Clerk of the House, Legal Advisor & Researcher in the Parliament of Tonga (2005-2011) and in 2011 he became the Clerk of the Parliament.<ref name="Tonga"/> In November 2012, Tekiteki moved to Fiji to take up the legal position with the Pacific Islands Forum.
