Sankar Krishnan attended the University of Madras, Madras, India for his Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and is a qualified CPA from the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Personal life
Krishnan was born in a Tamil Brahmin family and grew up in Chennai, Madras, Tamil Nadu. He attended high school and college in Madras, India and also qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989.

Sankar is currently an EVP with Capgemini based in New York City. Prior to Capgemini, Sankar was Head of BPO North America with HCL. Sankar is a veteran career banker with Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank where he had an opportunity to work with them in several roles across South Asia, Middle East, North Africa, London and North America. Krishnan has covered roles in Corporate Banking, Transaction Services and FIG Banking.
Post Citi, Sankar left for a fintech start up Adventity that was acquired by Sutherland Global Services a large privately held BPO.
