Saniya Zia Ul Haq

and paid tribute to the Martyrs of APS through her poetry. Haq’s work is published in different magazines including Urdu Magazine and Hisaar.
Journalism
Haq started reporting for Urdu Magazine in 2009 and continued as a free lance reporter until the magazine has been closed. She was appointed to cover various literary and entertaining events held in Jeddah. She also worked for newspaper Awaz and children magazines like Fun Time and V-Shine.
Host
Haq began her career as a Host by hosting an event dedicated to the handicapped children of HOPE organization in January 2008 under the banner of Hum Nojawan and Black Rock. 
Haq was selected by the Consulate of Pakistan to narrate the life History of Allama Muhammad Iqbal on an event held on Iqbal Day and received a huge applaud for her speaking  abilities. She was awarded the collection of Iqbal’s Books from his Grandson Azad Iqbal and became a well acclaimed orator in the community. She continued working with Hum Nojawan, Black Rock, Arabian Oasis and numerous other nonprofit Event Management Organizations.  She was appointed as the Vice President of Pakistan - India Friendship Society to promote peace among the expatriates of two nations residing in Jeddah and received Peace Promoter Award. She was later appointed as the youth ambassador for SAANS, another nonprofit Event Management Organization, and later resigned from all posts.
Haq is currently serving as a Housewife and plans to restart her writing career. Her collection of short stories “Phool Mere Gulistan Ke” is complete and ready to be published. She will mark her comeback in literary society with its Launch.
