Reuben Advani

Reuben Advani is an American author, finance expert and entrepreneur. He is the founder and president of Telestrat Education, a financial training company offering mini-MBA courses to corporations and law firms worldwide.
Career
Advani began his career with the Wall Street bank Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc., where he worked in the firm’s corporate finance division. After Morgan Stanley, Advani joined Sony Corporation where he was active in the development of Sony's online initiatives. Additionally, he advised senior officers of Sony Corporation on various financial hedging strategies. Advani has provided consulting services to companies throughout the U.S. and Latin America and has held interim positions with several of them including CFO and COO. Advani is the founder and president of Telestrat Education, and education company that offers continuing legal education courses and financial training on topics ranging from corporate valuation to financial reporting.
Publishing
Advani authored the successful business book, The Wall Street MBA, published by McGraw-Hill. The book is sold in bookstores around the world and has been translated to Mandarin Chinese. He has also been featured in prominent business publications including . Advani's newest book, Financial Freedom: A Guide to Achieving Lifelong Wealth and Security, published on January 3, 2013 provides insights on sound financial decision making.
Public Speaking
Advani has spoken to audiences at world class organizations including Avon Products, The American Red Cross, Baker and McKenzie and Simpson Thacher and Bartlett. In 2010, he launched a pro bono initiative called the Financial Literacy Youth Project, designed to improve financial literacy among American high school students.
Education
Advani holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from the Wharton School. He serves as an adjunct professor of finance at Drexel University, Temple University and Villanova University.
