Private Box Ltd is a New Zealand based corporation that provides online access to your postal mail to customers worldwide. Private Box is incorporated in Wellington, New Zealand, and has headquarters in Wellington City, New Zealand.
History
In 2005 while on a trip, Steven Morey, realized the need to have access to his postal mail. People were often forced to have their mail held at the local post shop or forwarded via an unreliable source, often mail was not guaranteed to arrive within the time needed. Steven identified a need for getting access to your postal mail wherever you live, often small businesses or travelers need to get their important documents and make sure they are safely stored. Steven formed the first generation of the Company Private-services.com (S M Tech Ltd) and established a mail sorting facility.
In 2006 the legal name S M Tech Ltd was renamed Private Box Ltd and (with the initial permission of NZ Post Ltd) began trading as Private Box.
Private Box Ltd is in a constant state of development. Now with added services such as mail scanning, cheque processing and soon to come VOIP services, Private Box is fast becoming a centre point for international business in New Zealand.
