New Wave of Modern American Glam Metal is a sub-genre of heavy metal music and glam metal that came from the revival of many glam metal bands. It is a mix of classic glam metal/sleave rock but with a more modern feel.

NWOMAGM is a return to the classic glam metal of the 80's. It is characterised by its mix of modern and classic sound. Often included is technical guitar solo's, breakdowns and some screaming though that is not essential. The style of dress is also similar to many of the glam metal bands of the 80's. This includes but is not limited to or needs to include: large hair, tight pants, leather, make-up, and other styles similar to glam and sleave rock/metal.
