Mutiny of Colours is a documentary film about graffiti and street art in the Islamic republic of Iran. It is directed by Zeinab Tabrizy and Paliz khoshdel.
Synopsis
This documentary film covers the life, artistic style and way of thinking of Five Iranian Street Artists. It will have four episodes including interviews with the artists about the genesis of Street Art in Iran and the interaction point with the Islamic Iran’s propaganda murals. It will also cover the problems and dangers associated with street art in Iran due to graffiti being criminalised to a much greater extent than in the western democracies.
