Mile Kokotov
Mile Kokotov, M.Sc. is industrial engineer manager and has master`s degree in technical science. He was born on September 30, 1964 in Štip, Republic of Macedonia, and was a television broadcaster in Yugoslavia.
Career
Kokotov funded the first private television in the former Yugoslavia (Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia) in 1989. He was a major proponent for the development of privately owned electronic media. At that time most broadcasting stations were state-owned.
He actively participated in international conferences on development of media in the Balkans during the period from 1992 to 1999.
In the first free elections (1990) he was elected to the City Council of the Municipality of Štip (1990 to 1996).
He was an active member of the commission for media and information. He is a member of the Radio Club "Nikola Tesla" - Z37M in Štip from 1977 and actively contributed to the spread of radio engineering, electronics and telecommunications among young people.
Kokotov also founded several Cable TV Networks in Macedonia and Serbia.
Since 1999 he lives and works as a manager in Skopje, the capital of Republic of Macedonia.
As a manager of "Kadis" he was awarded the International Star Award in Gold Category by "B.I.D. Business Initiative Directions" in Paris in 2007, a vanity award.
Some of his research in Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications is published in his first book "Cable Distribution Systems Basics" (written in Macedonian language) in 2010 .
