Eyton-Jones was born in Liverpool and grew up near Chester, Cheshire, on the Wirral Peninsula.
Career
Eyton-Jones’s career started in Liverpool in 1997 where he worked as a junior underwriter on the underwriting floor for RoyalSunAlliance.
Eyton-Jones worked at Mercer Consulting, part of Marsh & McLennan Companies and for the Bank of America Corporation. He also worked for Goldman Sachs and the John Lewis Partnership pension fund.
Eyton-Jones has been a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute since 1997 and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment since 2004. He is a Liveryman at the Worshipful Company of International Bankers and a Freeman of the City of London.
Board Appointments
Eyton-Jones served on the Board of Trustees at Villiers Park Educational Trust between 2012 and 2015 and was a member of the finance sub-committee during this period.
From 2011 to 2016, he was a member of the Integrity Committee at the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
In 2010 he became the first executive education alumnus to be appointed to the Cambridge Judge Business School Alumni Advisory Council, which he served on until 2017.
