Adeyemi was born in Lagos, Nigeria, she studied medical education at Olabisi Onabanjo University. She has advanced degrees in public health from Johns Hopkins University and sustainability and environmental management from Harvard University.
Career
Adeyemi served as a special adviser on research and innovation to the Minister of Education and the Minister of State for Health, she played a pivotal role in launching Nigerian National Health Research Ethics Committee electronic proposal submission platform supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Adeyemi plays a role in shaping health policies, cancer research, and ethical governance.
