Lescova was noticed by Latvia’s most prestigious modeling agency and within a year, was working consistently. She landed her first cover for a national Latvian magazine at the age of 16.
In 2011, she appeared in Esquire Magazine for the series, "Me in My Place".
In December 2011 she appeared on the covers of FHM Australia and UMM Canada magazines. and FHM Latvia magazines.
In October 2015, Julia appeared on the cover of L'Officiel magazine Ukraine.
