John Buglass
John Buglass is an independent archaeologist living in Newby Wiske near North Allerton in North Yorkshire. He has been involved in the Yorkshire part of the rapid coastal zone since its inception. He was born on 30 April 1962 in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
Archaeological Influence
One of Buglass's biggest projects was the St Aidan's boat in a coal mine volunteer excavation in 1999 . The excavation won the 2000 Council for British Archaeology Pitt Rivers award for best volunteer project.
TV appearances
John appeared in one episode of the Secrets of the Dead series . An appearance in an Open University video on the alum works at Ravenscar, Yorkshire led to an appearance in the first series of Coast.
