Ilir Pelinku
Ilir Pelinku (born on 18 April 1969), is an Albanian former football coach and former player who played in various Maltese clubs, which he last played for Lija Athletic, and subsequently became a coach for the team in 2001.
In 2008, Pelinku and Maltese referee Joseph Attard were charged for bribing a goalkeeper, Saviour Darmanin of Malta before the match and match manipulation.
On 21 February 2012, Attard and Pelinku were convicted of bribery and match manipulation.
Coaching career
In 2001, Pelinku became the coach of Lija Athletic until 2002.
They appeared and arranged in court in May 2009.
