Howl from Beyond the Fog
is a 2019 independently made Japanese short directed and written by Daisuke Sato and produced by LosGatos Works. The film is heavily influenced by "The Fog Horn" by Ray Bradbury and premiered at the Atami Kaiju Film Festival on November 24, 2019 and was released in Japan on October 31, 2020.
Plot
A blind girl named Takiri fights against greedy developers who threaten to take over her family's land during the Meiji era, with help from the blind monster called Nebula from the nearby lake.
