Giovanni Corrado

Giovanni Corrado (born 15 May 1997) is an American-Italian youth media activist and news personality. Giovanni rose to fame after a TV appearance on Rai 1 in 2017, when he discussed his experience at the White House. He has received coverage by several TV channels and publications for his journey from a small town in Italy to the White House. He is also known for founding <nowiki/>'Next Generation First<nowiki/>' and for his involvement in charitable events around the world. Giovanni is a United Nations Youth Ambassador.
Early life & education
Corrado was born on 15 May 1997, in Italy to a Columbian mother and an Italian father. Giovanni attended Franklin & Marshall College, where he studied Government & Public Policy. Giovanni is currently pursuing a Master's of Liberal Arts (ALM) in Government at Harvard University.
Career
He left his hometown in Chiavari, Italy at the age of 16 to travel to the United States. Within 4 years, he was able to accumulate many experiences for many of his peers: an internship at Donald Trump's White House, a job with presidential candidate Marco Rubio in the Florida immigration office, the foundation of a company that is about to present on a global scale and a fellowship at the United Nations for the creation of awareness campaigns and fundraising for vaccines against viral diseases. He was part of the first group of four interns in President Donald Trump's Office of Communications during the summer of 2016. At 20 years old, Giovanni was working with the Republican party of Florida. In 2017, Corrado was Communications Director - Rosy Palomino for Fl State House 112. After spending more than 3 years as Global Youth Health Champion for the United Nations Foundation, he now works as Senior Associate (Law) at GLG.

Corrado has appeared on several news channels to express his views on the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Italy and the United States.
