George Marangos-Gilks
George Marangos-Gilks MA Cantab (born 17 June 1987) is a British entrepreneur. He co-founded The Tab with Jack Rivlin whilst studying at the University of Cambridge.
Early life
Marangos-Gilks was born into a Anglo-Cypriot family in North London and subsequently moved to Nairobi. His middle years remain a mystery up to the point where he started a website aimed at University of Cambridge students.
The Tab
While studying at the University of Cambridge, Marangos-Gilks founded a tabloid news website aimed at students with fellow Cantabrigian Jack Rivlin. The publication swiftly became one of the most popular at the university, and was expanded to serve 40 other institutions.
Marangos-Gilks currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of Tab Media Ltd, a highly successful company with 2,000,000 monthly readers.
