Fiend with a Violin
Fiend with a Violin is a 1996 compilation album released by The Fall on the Receiver record label on LP, CD and DVD-A. It consists of a series of out-takes, demos and live versions of previously released material along with two versions of the title track - an early version of the song 2X4 from The Wonderful And Frightening World Of The Fall.
Material included on the album was also featured on a number of other compilations: alongside two other Receiver The Fall compilations that bookend its release, Sinister Waltz and Oswald Defence Lawyer, it was packaged in a 3CD set called The Other Side of the Fall. Tracks from the album featured on Archive Series, on Rialto Records, and also on a double-CD selection from the original compilations called The Less You Look The More You Find, with tracks from The Light User Syndrome added.
