Biography
Femi Akinkuebi (born 4 March 1979) is a Nigerian industrialist, entrepreneur, and advocate for community-driven development. He is the founder of the Itesiwaju Group and the Itesiwaju Movement, both of which focus on promoting local industrialization and civic participation in Nigeria.He is also the Managing Director of Ore Industrial Park located in Ore, Ondo State, Nigeria.
Early Life and Education
Akinkuebi was born in Ondo Kingdom, Nigeria. He attended St. Joseph Primary School and Ondo Boys High School. He gained practical business exposure through travels and engagements across Europe, China, and various African nations, which he refers to as part of his informal education in entrepreneurship.
He later earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Entrepreneurship Development. Akinkuebi also completed programs in leadership and strategic business planning at the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of Lagos Business School.

Akinkuebi is known for spearheading industrial development initiatives and promoting business clusters across Nigeria. He has played a role in the establishment or support of several industrial hubs, including:

Ore Industrial Park
The Ore Industrial Park, located in Ondo State, is a key initiative attributed to Akinkuebi’s vision for localized industrialization. Developed through a public-private partnership, the park spans multiple hectares and houses a range of facilities including:
Agro-processing units
Light manufacturing plants
Logistics and warehousing services
The project has been credited with generating employment and improving infrastructure in Ondo South Senatorial District. It is cited in development policy discussions as a model for regional industrial growth.
Itesiwaju Group and Political Involvement
In an effort to integrate civic engagement with economic planning, Akinkuebi founded the Itesiwaju Group, a platform focused on leadership transparency and grassroots development. In June 2025, he launched the Itesiwaju Movement in Ondo East Local Government, unveiling a ten-point agenda aimed at improving infrastructure, youth employment, agriculture, and governance.
The movement emphasizes participatory development, where communities contribute to setting priorities and sustaining projects.
Ideology
Akinkuebi’s development philosophy is centered on industry-led growth. He advocates that economic infrastructure should precede formal governance reforms, and believes that leadership should be evaluated by long-term impact on communities. His motto, “Power for Progress. Politics for People,” reflects his emphasis on practical, people-centered governance.
Recognition
In recognition of his contributions to entrepreneurship and industrial growth, Akinkuebi received the State Award on Entrepreneurship, presented by former Governor of Ondo State, the late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.SAN.
Personal Life
He is married and has three children. Akinkuebi is involved in youth mentorship and continues to engage with entrepreneurs across Nigeria.
