Early life
He was born to Dr. Mahanand Singh and Smt. Mridula Rani Singh in MUZAFFARPUR, BIHAR. Sanjeev Singh's father Dr. Mahanand Singh is a well renowned doctor of North Bihar and his father has started Two educational Institutions and his father is a President, Sri Balaji Educational Research & Development Trust and President, Lord Buddha Educational Research & Development Trust.
Sanjeev Singh's primary education was at Muzaffarpur. He studied at Prabhat Tara School till class 4th. after that he joined Kendriya Vidyalay Muzaffarpur completed his class 10th and joined L.S. College Muzaffarpur, Prestigious College of North Bihar for his intermediate education.
He got 1st Rank in Bihar Combined Engineering Entrance Exam become State Topper in BCEE Exam 1996 and studied B.E. (Electronics Engg) at India's best REC Regional Institute of Tecnology, Jamshedpur. He was Student's union President of RIT Jamshedpur from 1998-2000. He was vice captain of college cricket team, he received M.B.A from XLRI Jamshedpur and got selected for Cisco System and worked for Cisco System Bangalore for 2 years. Later he done his M.Tech from PTU.

Sanjeev Singh is married to Shivani Singh and has one son Shreyash Singh.
