Emmanuel Mogaji

Emmanuel Mogaji is a Nigerian-born academic writer and senior lecturer in Advertising and Marketing Communications at the University of Greenwich. He is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Emmanuel's areas of research include Advertising, Branding, Communications, Digital and Ethics (ABCDE) of Marketing Communications, artificial intelligence, and sportswomen in the advertisement. His PhD thesis explored emotional appeals in the United Kingdom advertisements.
Biography
Born in Lagos State, Nigeria, Mogaji received a degree in architecture from the University of Lagos. For further study, he moved to the United Kingdom and received his Masters of Arts degree in Art Design with Internet Technologies from the University of Bedfordshire. In 2016, he completed his doctorate of philosophy (PhD) degree in marketing from the University of Bedfordshire.
Emmanuel has previously served as the Associate Lecturer and a researcher at the Business and Management Research Institute of the University of Bedfordshire between 2014 and 2017.<ref name="gre.ac.uk emmanuel-mogaji"/>
He joined the University of Greenwich in 2017 and served until September 2020 as a Lecturer in Advertising and Marketing Communications. In September 2020, he was promoted to the rank of Senior Lecturer.<ref name="gre.ac.uk emmanuel-mogaji"/>
