Doug Wayne Williamson is a Canadian actor and entrepreneur.
Life and career
Williamson was born in Kitchener, Ontario. He graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor's degree in 1992. Initially the brand started with one small coffee shop in Delta, British Columbia. In 1999, the company had 34 stores across Canada. In 2005, Esquires expanded into New Zealand, where they went on to become the leading branded coffee chain by store numbers. Currently, the retail coffee store chain has 130+ stores in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Indonesia, the UAE, Portugal, Pakistan and the United Kingdom. Williamson left the company in 2019 <ref name=":1" /> and is currently developing a new fast casual Korean street food concept with Korean-American chef and TV personality Judy Joo.
