Covering Kids and Families of Indiana

Covering Kids & Families of Indiana is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to Hoosiers in obtaining healthcare coverage. This is accomplished through their network of local coalitions throughout the state of Indiana. Each of theses coalitions employ certified Navigators, who are experts in coverage programs such as Medicaid, Hoosier Healthwise and the Healthy Indiana Plan, as well as Marketplace options through Healthcare.gov. Their website www.ckfindiana.org features an online scheduler where anyone can make an appointment to meet with a Navigator for assistance in attaining coverage. The state office, located in Indianapolis, also works with legislators, administration officials and other stakeholders to advocate for strong and inclusive public policies related to health coverage.
