Continental News German New Wave Rock band from the early eighties. Demo session were recorded at Philipp Leisten Recording Studios (Studio West, produced by Micki Meuser) in Aachen, for WDR by Wolfgang Neumann "Rock Studio" at Dieter Dirks (of Scorpions fame) in Stommeln. They mostly toured the Benelux area 1980 to 1983. Their funny short songs with social-commentary lyrics attracted the attention of people like Jorma Kaukonen, Adrian Borland, Jean-Marie Aerts, Arno Hintjens and Conny Planck. The band dissolved after Conny Planck sessions were cancelled.
