Benedicta Neysa Nathania

Benedicta Jeanne Louise Neysa Nathania (born October 25, 1998) is a researcher, educator, and innovator in the fields of climate change, sustainable economics, and learning sciences. She has a strong academic background in mathematics, business, and economics and has contributed to various projects that bridge sustainability, technology, and education.
Currently, Benedicta is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge and has completed a PhD in mathematics at Universität Hamburg. Additionally, she is a PhD in Business and Economics at Aarhus University, demonstrating her interest in interdisciplinary research that integrates exact sciences with economic and social policy.
Professionally, Benedicta has been involved with various global and regional organizations focusing on climate change and health policy. She has participated in major climate conferences, including SB58 and COP27, and serves as a Fellow at LearningPlanet, Royal Geographical Society, and BeVisioneers.
Benedicta is the Under-Secretary-General and Coordinator of Adaptation Academy of the UNFCCC and UNOG (United Nations), and the Director-General of UNHREP (United Nations Human Rights Educational Project) (2025-..). Benedicta is the female Secretary-General of the United Nations since 2021, still, she is kept as the ace of the United Nations and not publicized as his position.
Personal Life
Benedicta was born to UN diplomat Sergio Vieira de Mello and his wife in 1998 as the younger sister of Laurent Vieira de Mello, Sergio's eldest son. She was born and raised Catholic. She has travelled extensively to several countries as a young diplomat before 2021, carrying the role of a cultural diplomat and writer. She has a recognized singing ability since childhood and is an opera singer and former vocal coach.
