Mascarenhas also reacted negatively to a potentially preachy approach.Times of India said that
Rath's poetry has a purpose and carries meaning. Times, however, also identified that some literary tools could have given an extra edge. Prateek Gupta
from Jagran observed the contradiction in his style of writing and the
inconsistency in using the rhyming technique because of which a reader might not enjoy it as
much. Gupta appreciated the use of everyday objects for poetry. Daily Pioneer identified the political connotations in the book and criticized Rath to be not explicit with his thoughts and shielding himself with abstract poetry. ' The Financial Express said that the occasional optimism in the book saves it from being a
typical rant of an artist and also found the presentation dry.
