Alex Dumani
Alex S. Dumani (Álex Salomón Dumani Rodríguez) is a Panamanian writer, creative consultant, and audiovisual producer and director, now residing in Ecuador.
He studied Social Communications at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil and received a Master's degree in Business Administrations and a Master's degree in audiovisual screenplays. He has worked at several media organizations in Ecuador, including the newspaper El Universo, TC Televisión, Ecuavisa, SITV and others.
In 2013 published his first book, Legion: Alpha, as well as academic papers such as Clima organizacional, migración tecnológica y apagón analógico en la televisión ecuatoriana (Organizational Climate, Technological Migration, and the End of Analog Broadcasting in Ecuadorian Television).
An avid film and TV critic, he has also taught university classes related to audiovisual and films and their transition to online platforms.
He is currently developing the second part of the book Legión as well as other projects called Rebellón y Anatema. He is the host of an informal Spanish podcast called CinemaON,
