"FIrst (sic) of all your mediocre photo is all over the internet. You go ahead and seek further action, if you have time to do that you probably are still looking for work. Don't threaten me and I'd govern yourself accordingly when calling people names and making allegations or you might find yourself on the other end of a libel suit you petulant starving artist." ~ Erin Rosas

The photograph was removed from the website after they were informed that they were being served a DMCA notice. However, several other photographs, including an eggplant parmesan dish, a pork chop creation & cinnamon raisin brown rice pudding dish, which remained on the website, were exposed as having been taken from other foodbloggers' websites.
This incident, most notably due to the controversial reply by Erin Rosas, has generated considerable interest online and several news sites have reported it via web articles and editors' blogs.
AOL published an article in February 2009 on their popular food-related news blog, Slashfood, entitled "Food Bloggers Fight Content Thieves" describing the increase in number of plagiarism issues that food bloggers face on the internet with specific references to the alleged content theft by Chef Al Rosas.
The reports are not limited to the US. In Australia, a blog entry on also referred to this incident.
