Adeniyi Akintola
Adeniyi Akintola (Niyi Akintola) is a lawyer, politician and philanthropist from Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is the Principal Partner of Adeniyi Akintola & Co., a Law Firm with head office in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Akintola formally declared his intention to contest for the Oyo State governorship seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019.

Adeniyi Michael Akintola SAN was born January 21, 1960 in Ibadan, Nigeria. He earned his law degree from the University of Ibadan. He was awarded the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2001.
Political Campaign
Adeniyi Akintola was the first to make known his intentions to run for governor of Oyo State in April 2017. He has since garnered many endorsements, most notably from
the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Vanguard Newspapers.
