Abdon Atangana

Abdon Atangana is a noted Cameroonian mathematician working in the field of applied mathematics.
Atangana was born in Cameroon in a small village called Elig-Mfomo in (01/10/1985). He did his undergraduate in Cameroon. He obtained his Honors degree and M.S. degree at the Department of Applied Mathematics with distinction at the University of the Free State , Bloemfontein , South Africa. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics at the Institute for Groundwater Studies, University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa.
Atangana serves as Editor of ten international journals and also Reviewer of more than 65 international accredited journals. He has been Lead and Guest Editor of some special issues. He has presented and participated in more than 20 international conferences. His research interests are methods and applications of partial and ordinary differential equations, fractional differential equations, perturbation methods, asymptotic methods, iterative methods, and groundwater modeling. He has published 67 research papers. Some of his paper appear in the Journal of Vibration and Control; "Communication in nonlinear science and numerical simulation", Neural computing and applications. Atangana was awarded Claude Leon Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship awards.
