2015 Semenyih helicopter crash

On April 4, 2015, a Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin helicopter owned by Solitaire Air Services crashed in the village of Semenyih, Malaysia killing all 6 people on board. Among the dead were Malaysian Prime Minister's Chief of Staff Azlin Alias, as well as Jamaluddin Jarjis, a Malaysian ambassador to the people of the world.
Flight
The helicopter, registered as 9M-IGB, took off from Kuantan en route to Subang Airport. At approximately 4:55 pm local time, the helicopter crashed and burst into flames. The Kajang Fire and Rescue service received an emergency call at 4:57 pm.
Investigation
An investigation was immediately launched by the Malay Department of Civil Aviation and the Air Accidents Investigation Bureau. The search for debris was called off April 8. Witnesses saw the helicopter crash and burst into flames.
