2000 Demo

2000 Demo is a demo album from American rock band Avenged Sevenfold. This demo was recorded and released in 2000. Prior to the release of Avenged Sevenfold's debut album Sounding the Seventh Trumpet in 2001, Avenged Sevenfold made two demo recordings. These recordings are rare and occasionally will be found for download on Avenged Sevenfold fan sites. This is Avenged Sevenfold's second album. This is the last record with Matt Wendt on bass guitar. M. Shadows performs vocals on all the tracks.
Names
The names of the band members on this demo are pseudonyms, including M. Shadows and Zacky Vengeance, who previously had not used pseudonyms. Matt Sanders changed into "Shadows", and Zachary Baker became "Zacky Vengeance". During the recording of their next album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, "Shadows" added an "M." to the start of his name, becoming "M. Shadows".
