The Black List Club is a rock band from Los Angeles, California. They originally formed as Hate Me in 2005, but changed the name early in 2006. The members are Evan Taubenfeld (Spinfire, Avril Lavigne) on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Devin Bronson (Avril Lavigne) on lead guitar and back-up vocals, Mike Castonguay (Lukewarm Freeda, In For The Kill) on bass, and Isaac Carpenter, () on drums. They played their first show at Baltimore's HFStival on May 27th, 2006. In July 2006, they played several shows in the Los Angeles area with Hyde, a smash Japanese sensation. The band began recording their debut album in January 2008, and have plans to have it out by summer time.
