Tamzin Sylvester

Tamzin Sylvester is a British journalist. Tamzin was an occasional presenter and showbiz correspondent on ITV London's regional news programme, London Tonight. A position she left in November 2007. Sylvester was previously BBC Three's David Beckham correspondent, and presented the Pure 24 programme, supporting the BBC's airing of 24 Season 2. She has also worked for ITN's radio division as an entertainment reporter for IRN, and as a presenter on London's LBC radio. Sylvester was initially educated at The Mountbatten School in Romsey, where her father, Peter Sylvester, was a geography teacher. Originally from Southampton, in 1992 she went to the University of Wales in Aberystwyth, staying in Ceredigion Hall. She left after less than a week due to homesickness. She went to Exeter University a year later. She gave birth to her first child in late 2007. Sylvester currently presents /london, a current affairs programme on ITV1 London every Thursday night.
