ROM-DOS is an embedded operating system that enables DOS applications to run on embedded hardware. It was created in 1989, and is maintained by Datalight, Inc.

ROM-DOS expanded beyond the MS-DOS environment with the introduction of a TCP/IP stack and suite of connectivity utilitys, Long File Name Support, FAT32 support, and a continued offering of product technical support.

ROM-DOS Single User Version is a free DOS solution perfect for desktop users and OEMs wanting a single seat replacement DOS.
