Rich Perez

Richard Anthony "Rich" Perez is a CBS Sports Radio host in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Career
Perez is the early morning host on the CBS Sports Radio Network Las Vegas KXNT 1140, heard across Las Vegas, Utah and California. He previously worked as a host for KLAV-1230 Las Vegas, KKEA-1440 Honolulu ESPN, 720 Las Vegas ESPN and Fox Sports 1400 Las Vegas, Nevada. He also had a role as the Harlem Globetrotters as public address announcer in 2003-2004. Perez handled NBA Summer league public address announcing duties for 11 years from 1998-2009 in Long Beach and Las Vegas. He has been a contributor to four segments of NFL Films. He teamed with and was color commentator for CMX Sports Friday Night Fights with Colonel Bob Sheridan, covering more than 600 boxing matches. The CBS Sports Radio Network Las Vegas launched on January 2, 2013 with Perez as a host. In 2015, Perez was enshrined in the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame for his 22 years of service on air at the time.
Acting career
He has appeared in minor/extra roles in several films, including Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
Charitable work
In the summer of 2006, Perez devoted much of his time to raising money for local charity in efforts along with Barrick Gaming that raised 10,000 Dollars in his late USMC son's name. He has coached and helped sponsor the Franklin Panthers and Arleta Mustangs baseball programs, both Los Angeles Unified High School teams in the Los Angeles (CA) area. The efforts raised were dispatched to local homeless meals. Perez has since teamed with and supported Taste of the NFL Charity.
Personal life
Perez was born in Studio City, California. He graduated from University of Phoenix in 2010 with a degree in communications and a masters degree earned in 2011 in Adult Education/Training. He is married with four children including late (1985-2005) United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal Richard Perez Jr. and former (2013-2014) Arizona State and (2015-2016) Oregon State gymnast Risa Perez along with four grandchildren.
