Paper Lanterns was a pop punk/power pop band from Vancouver, Canada. The band existed, though with numerous line-up changes, between October 2002 and April 2006. Paper Lanterns played their first show on Halloween of 2002 at the illustrious 2nd Avenue Punk House in beautiful East Vancouver, BC. They toured Western Canada once and the west coast of the United States twice. Their first and only album Love, Paper Lanterns was released on local indie label Throttle Style Records in 2004 and is still available through Throttle Style. Paper Lanterns played their last show ever on April 28th, 2006 at the world famous ALF House in Vancouver. A 7" vinyl split with Vancouver locals Fun 100 was posthumously released on Hockey Dad Records.
