Nervous Melvin and the Mistakes are like going to the moon. Holy smoke it was like show time down at Dutch's Tavern all tweak end long. Jibber Jabbin' Ledford was crakin' his amp. Scott wanked like kryptonite. Maybe Don wasn't into Sally, but he sure did his homework.Melvin outta taste pespi and rename his band, "The Vanilla Pheromones."

There was this one guy in the band. I think his name was, Larry? Recently. I heard he passed away. That's so like, too bad. I liked him. I just can't even imagine the band going on without him. He was the one who played the bass. Sang the harmony and ran the sound. I talked to him one nite. He was just so much like the nicest guy. In that band. Brave. I mean just so brave. For the band to keep playing. I hope they alway keep old Larry's memory alive.

I used to do setups at the Omsted when Nervous Melvin and the mistakes used played there. They did a lot of weddings and proms and partys. I just had to laugh one time. Every time the guy setting up the sound turned his back the old guy in the band would turn his amp or down and that other guy messing with the sound would run back and re adjust the sound. you'd just think what? Then the old guy stomped out like he thought the other guy couldn't get it right. Bands are so messed up. i'm glad I'm not in one.

Lovely Band. Had so many great encounters with the lead guitarist. A very "giving" kind of guy. I can't thank him enough.

Yeah, I remember the bass player, but I think his name was Gerry. He was a horrible drunk, a real jerk. What a waste.

Had many a great laugh with that Guy! Fun to be around. As for the rest of the "Band." The guitarist is mentally ill. Really. Paranoid Schizophrenic. The singer is Schizo, but put a band aid on it , as in. I'm the center of the universe, or something. The Drummer lives off his wife.

And I did use Gerry to get in the Band and I used to stop by his place to get some free Booze and Smoke, went out to his Farm without asking and even took advantage of a situation or too by asking his girlfriend out when he confided in me they had just broke up. But what the hell... It was all just for laughs, Oh Please....!

What I remember about that band was the Drummer. He used to hang out at Gerry's place leeching off him. Smoke. Liquor. Beer. Rented Movies. Dinner. What ever he could get. I told Gerry he was a loser but Gerry even helped get him in the band. Not once but twice. I really thing that Gerry had a screw lose. The Guy even used to hit on Gerry's GirlFriend. Oh well, it takes all kinds.
