Mari Luz Cortes (2003-c.March 8 2008) was a 5-year old Spanish girl, who disappeared on January 13 2008, and whose decomposed body was discovered on March 8 2008.
Disapperance and Murder
On January 13 2008, Mari Luz went to buy some crisps with two-friends in Huelva in Spain, in the evening. Her final words to them, were "wait for me". She was not seen again. The case had similarities to the Madeline McCann case. In the early morning of March 8 2008, Cortes' decomposed body was discovered in a river. The McCann family have offered their sympathy to Mari Luz's family.
