She has continued her training in art doing portrait painting of live models and does regular demonstrations in acrylic technique for interested students.

Much of Lake's published work has appeared on the covers of role-playing game books, magazines, and similar products. Companies that have made extensive use of her art include Skirmisher Publishing LLC, who used paintings by Lake for the covers of their d20-system books Nuisances (2005), Experts v.3.5 (2005), and Warriors (2003). In 2001, she published a tarot card deck in collaboration with author Raymond Buckland.

Greetings Lissanne,

My name is Jonathan Lemerond and I am currently working on a presentation that will be given at the upcoming North American Discworld Convention. The topic of this presentation is regarding the various styles of art that have graced the covers of the Discworld Novels by Terry Pratchett throughout the years. I would very much appreciate it if you would be willing to give me a little insight on your experience on this topic. I am referring to your work on the cover of "Men at Arms" and any other relevant pieces I may not know about. It does not have to be anything more than a few lines jotted down from memory.

Examples would include:

*Did the job hold any significance for you? Or was it perhaps just one of many assignments you took on to pay the bills at that time?
*Do you recall having any particular difficulty on your assignment? Were the publishers or author fun to work with?
*Did you read any of the books whose covers you created?, or were you perhaps given an excerpt of the book, or even just a vague description over the phone?
*Did your experience as a Discworld artist make you a fan of the series?

I am looking for any information I can get from you, positive or negative. If you have a memorable story associated with the art you were creating and wish to share it, I would be very grateful.

Thank you for your time.
