Kevin James Muirhead (born 7 June 1979, Paisley, Scotland) is a Scottish former professional football player who played for St Mirren (youth) and Airdrie F.C as a goalkeeper. Muirhead was never capped at international level but was included in the national youth set up. At the age of 21 he joined the ranks of amateur football after refusing an offer from . Kevin Muirhead is from a footballing family and his cousin Scott Muirhead is currently playing with Dunfermline Athletic F.C..
Muirhead holds a BA Hons in Sports Development and an SFA youth coaching badge. He is currently working as a youth scout for Hamilton Academical F.C. after a short spell with Cardiff City F.C.
