Dr. Jayne Snyder is a Lincoln, Nebraska physical therapist who announced her candidacy for an At-Large City Council seat on December 2, 2008. The Primary Election is April 7th, 2009 and the General Election is May 5th, 2009. A lifelong Lincolnite, she is the owner of Snyder Physical Therapy and has served the American Physical Therapy Association, both as Vice President and on the Board of Directors. Snyder currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the Lincoln Parks and Recreation Foundation, the Great Plains Trail Network, and the Mayor's Pedestrian/Bicycle Advisory Committee. Snyder received her undergraduate degree in Physical Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, her M.A in Physical Therapy at Stanford University and her doctorate of Physical Therapy at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, Mesa, Arizona.
