Guitarway To Heaven (also abbreviated GtH) is a rhythmic homebrew game, a mod of PSPRevolution, for a customized Sony Playstation Portable. It is a very successful homebrew game.
Creation
The game creator, Benjamin, was active in the Custom Demos projects for PSP. When new demos came out, he would customize the EBOOT and re-uploaded them, which became very popular in the homebrew scene. He did all his work via the website pspdemocenter.com When the site got a deal with Sony to become official, custom demos were banned from the site. Benjamin did not want to leave the scene, he was really big there. So he set up a little development team to make games for the PSP that work via internet browser. To him there was no other option because it needed to work on official firmware. However, this project did not gain success.
Benjamin started to play another PSP homebrew game, PSPRevolution. He like the game, the only thing was that he did not enjoy the music itself. Benjamin looked in the PSPRevolution files to and saw that they were relatively easily editable and changeable. That was where he got the idea to put his own kind of music and graphics.
He thought of releasing this new mod he created, but he needed a good name.That is where "Guitarway to Heaven" popped up. The name appears in the movie "Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny".
His first release was: Guitarway to Heaven, with 24 songs, a homebrew PSP mod of PSPRevolution of rock and metal music.

How To Install This game is for a Customized Sony PSP. Installation is easy. Download the game, Extract it, Place in PSP>GAME then play. If you do not have a Custom PSP Firmware it will not work.
