Gouge your eyes

Gouge your eyes is a hand game played by two or more people derived from the popular game Rock-Paper-Scissors. The game is a two stage rock-paper-scissors where the winner of the initial round of rock-paper-scissor then gets to choose from 1 of 3 different ways to gouge the opponents eyes, while the loser has to choose from 1 of 3 ways to defend the attack. Contrary to popular belief, physical eye gouging does not occur and no participants have ever been intentionally injured as a result of this game.
The game is often played as a drinking game but is also suitable for use as a selection method in a way similar to coin flipping, drawing straws, or throwing dice. However, unlike rock-paper-scissors, gouge your eyes is played at a much higher degree of skill. Especially if the game extends over many sessions with the same player(s), it is often possible to recognize and exploit the non-random behavior of an opponent.
History
Gouge your eyes was originally created by Joe Lin in 2004 but has since been modified and popularized by many others. Joe Lin along with his drunken friends decided that they grew bored of all the drinking games they've been playing for years and decided that it was time for a new game. The game was most recently modified on Jan. 30th, 2010 at a cabin off of Kinnickkinnick Road in Vail, Colorado. The modification was immediately met with adulations from all other 8 members who were there to witness the genius of one Jason Mou and more importantly the change was officially accepted and instilled into the game rules by Joe Lin at that very instance.
Though it was unclear how the concept of the game originally came about, it is clear that gouge your eyes has drastically changed the landscape of drinking games across United States and rumors has it that the game has reached popularity in other continents as well.
Game Play
The game is usually played in a king of the court manner where the winner must defend his or her throne against all others in the battle arena. The challenger must attempt to defeat the king of the court to be deemed the king and must accept challenges from all worthy opponents. The game is fast, fun and simple, follow the game play rules below and happy gouging!
Original Game aka The OG

The game begins with a round of rock-paper-scissors.
The winner of the initial round then chants GOUGE YOUR EYES at the opponent and at the end of the chant, the attacker has to choose from 1 of 2 possible attacks: 1) the one handed 2 finger poke directed at the defenders eyes or 2) the hand chop directed at the opponents eyes.
The defender has to choose between two types of blocks. To properly block the 2 finger poke, one must block the attack by forming a blockade between the eyes. And to properly block the chop to the eyes, one must block the attack by covering their eyes with one hand.
If the defender was able to block the attack, the game starts over until someone gets their eyes gouged. If the defender fails to block the attack, the typical punishment results in an excessive amount of drinking.
Modified Rules aka The Mou-difier
The OG has a couple of major flaws in its concept: 1) the one handed eye block technically blocks both forms of attacks and 2) the chop attack is technically not gouging the opponents eye. When Joe Lin mentioned to Jason Mou about the flaw in his game, Jason Mou quickly innovated the game by removing the chop attack and introduced two new attacks and two new blocks.
The two new attacks is executed by the attacker forming a cup or scoop with his hand and targeting it towards either the defenders left or right eye.
The defender must block the attack above by either covering the left or right eye, and is instantly disqualified if one tries to block both eyes.
