Anitica Butariu

Anitica Butariu (or Anicuta Butariu) (June 17, 1882? - November 21, 1997) was a Romanian supercentenarian considered to be the longest-living person in Romanian history as well as the 15th longest-living human ever at 115 years and 157 days. There has been some question, however, as to the source of the available documentation, since her case was only accepted by the Romanian authorities.
